Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Chiropractic Treatment

We understand that you may have a busy schedule. We aim to be timely and efficient.
A follow-up session usually takes 30 minutes for each treatment type.
If you are receiving both chiropractic and physiotherapy sessions, the total duration will be around 45–60 minutes.
Dress comfortably and practically. We always encourage our patients to wear loose-fitting clothing.
Chiropractic manipulation generally causes minimal to no pain. You may hear pops or cracks, but you should not feel intense pain.
Some patients who are new to chiropractic care may involuntarily stiffen or resist during an adjustment, which may cause slight discomfort until they are able to relax.

Mild soreness or minor aches may occur after a session due to the repositioning of vertebrae. Your muscles need time to adapt to the bone movement, which may cause temporary soreness lasting 24–48 hours. We encourage patients to rest and apply moist heat to the sore muscles if needed.
The popping sound is called joint cavitation, caused by a change in joint tension. When the joint space opens slightly, pressure is released from small pockets of air or gas bubbles in the joint fluid.
Yes, children can benefit from chiropractic care. Our youngest patient was only 8 months old.
Children are physically active and often experience falls or impacts during daily activities. These may lead to symptoms such as back or neck pain, stiffness, soreness, or general discomfort.

One common condition we treat in children is scoliosis. Since idiopathic scoliosis often develops between age 10 and the end of growth, early observation and management are important to prevent progression—especially during growth spurts.
Yes, many pregnant women receive chiropractic care. Chiropractic adjustments can help relieve back pain and other musculoskeletal discomforts during pregnancy.

Our treatment methods are always tailored to suit each patient’s size, weight, age, and health condition to ensure safe and appropriate care.

Chiropractic treatment during pregnancy is safe and gentle. It helps relieve back pain during pregnancy and after delivery. It can also help relax the ligaments around the pelvic region, making natural birth easier.
